Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service and must not be barred from doing so under applicable law. The Service is not directed to children — see our Privacy Policy for details.

Your account

Some features require an account, created by signing in with Google, Facebook, or email. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

The Service

Carango helps you track your vehicles' fuel, expenses, income, maintenance, reminders, and related data, with optional cloud sync and fleet sharing. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

Subscriptions and billing

Carango offers an optional Premium subscription. Purchases and payments are processed by Google Play, not by us, and are subject to Google Play's terms.

• Auto-renewal — subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price until cancelled, and your Google account is charged at each renewal.
• Cancellation — you can cancel anytime in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Premium until then.
• Refunds — refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
• Fleet plans — a single Premium plan may be shared with a limited number of drivers, as described in the app. The plan owner is responsible for the subscription.
• Price changes — we may change subscription prices; changes apply to future billing periods and, where required, only after notice and your consent.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

• break the law or infringe others' rights while using the Service;
• attempt to access, disrupt, or damage the Service, its servers, or other users' data;
• reverse-engineer, resell, or exploit the Service except as permitted by law;
• upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights.

Your content

You retain ownership of the data and files you add to Carango (vehicles, records, receipts, photos, and so on). You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, sync, and display that content in order to operate the Service for you — and, where you use fleet sharing, to the members of your fleet. You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the rights to it.

Intellectual property

The Service itself — including the Carango name, logo, software, and design — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Google (Firebase, Google Play, Maps, AdMob) and Facebook. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Advertising

The free version of Carango is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Subscribing to Premium removes ads.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be preserved. Keep your own backups of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code where it applies.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Account Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of Brazil, except where applicable consumer-protection law entitles you to bring proceedings in your place of residence.
